I established a basic Facebook page three years ago, mostly to staunch the harangues from my more tech with-it friends. It sat, ignored and unvisited, for years. Then last month it blew up. I have no idea why this is, or why MySpace is suddenly so 8-tracky, but Facebook has clearly reached some kind of critical mass.
Casey Corbin, director of the Farmers Market Pavilion project, is getting in on the action and has 300-plus members in a group on there. Check it out; the page includes a now-narrated video flythrough of what the pavilion will look like.
