Iced coffee goodness at home

It’s been a grinder of a two months on the work and family fronts. New employees, new business streams and a never-ending series of kid activities have conspired to make an already hectic schedule much, much worse. To the rescue has come Fretboard’s iced coffee. Available at HyVee, Barred Owl’s storefront and Fretboard itself, this is high-octane fuel to get you through those early afternoon doldrums. It’s good enough to just pour over ice – though you might want a splash of water to tame things. Better yet: a quick take on the (pricey, sugar-laden) Starbucks frappucino.

Ingredients:

1 cup Fretboard iced coffee
1/2 cup whole milk
1 tablespoon sorghum molasses (or other sweetener)

Preparation:

Pour some ice in a mug or glass and add the three ingredients. Shake or stir to combine. Enjoy (and conquer the afternoon).
