A Mexico sojourn

We’re back from a week in Playa del Carmen. Had some terrific food, ceviche on the beach (see Tribune column later today) and took a couple of cooking classes. Also, lots of relaxing on the beach and pool time with kids. A perfect Thanksgiving in my book. Blog posts forthcoming.

In the meantime, Mark Bittman passes along an excellent infographic on global food consumption. In short, we eat the most food but spend the least (as a percentage) doing it. Something is wrong here…
