This weekend’s omelet fundraiser to benefit awesomeness

The very capable kids and chefs of the Columbia Area Career Center’s Culinary Arts program will be rocking omelets at the farmers market this weekend. Arrive hungry. Details after the jump:

This Saturday May 14th rain or shine from 8:00 – 12:00 we will be cooking omelets at the Columbia Farmer’s Market (between the Arc and West Jr. High School).  We are raising money to help send our student Jules Crespy to the Skills USA National Contest.

Omelets will be cooked to order with a variety of local ingredients.

Smoked Trout – Trout contributed by Troutdale Farms – Smoked by the CACC

Andouille Sausage – Pork purchased from Crocker Farms – Made and Smoked by the CACC

Canadian Bacon – Pork purchased from Crocker Farms – Cured and Smoked by the CACC

Ham – Ham steaks purchased from Walk About Acres

Bacon – Sides purchased from Patchwork Farms – Cured and smoked by the CACC

Pancetta – Sides purchased from Patchwork Farms – Cured by the CACC

 

 

Oyster Mushrooms – Purchased from Beau Solais Farm

Organic Spinach – Purchased from Deep Mud Farm

Swiss Chard – Purchased from The Salad Garden

Broccoli Raab – Purchased from The Salad Garden

Mung Bean Sprouts – Purchased from Kea International Market

Tomatoes – Purchased from Sullivan Berries

Sprout Mix (Alfalfa, Onion and Radish) – Purchased from Sullivan Berries

Cilantro – Purchased from Kea International Market

Thai Basil – Purchased from Kea International Market

Chives – Donated by Bonne Femme Farms

Organic Garlic Chives – Purchased from Chert Hollow Farms

Green Garlic – Purchased from The Salad Garden
