CoMo Openings: 44 Stone Alehouse

Mark Sulltrop (formerly sous chef at Bleu) and Dave Faron (Jack’s Gourmet) will be opening “44 Stone Alehouse Public House” in the space vacated by Hemingway’s. They’re shooting for gastropub which, if you’re not hip to the term, is basically a pub that – at least in theory – has really good food. Aesthetically, it’s at the far distant end of the spectrum from the soft purples and contours of Hemingway’s, so they have their work cut out for them if they’re going to hit their February 14th target opening date.

Also concerning the Peachtree area, Chim tells me she’s still working for a January opening of her Thai spot in the former Casablanca.
