Rendezvous Coffeehouse

Is no more.

Greetings, our adored and loyal customers.

It is with a heavy heart that we must deliver the following news.  While we would have much rather had the opportunity to tell each of you in person, at times it just doesn’t work out that way.  First, we want to thank you for all your support over the past 5½ years; sharing your lives and stories with us; participating in our silly games and contests; and becoming our friends.

The past 2 years of tough times and hard economy have taken its toll on Rendezvous.  So much that we have been presented with one conclusion, we must surrender the battle and close our doors.  Please understand, this was not a decision either of us took lightly, nor one we wanted to make.  We will be closing at 3pm Saturday, May 29th.

We would like to invite you to spend our last few hours saying goodbye and helping us “clean house.” If there is some product or merchandise or piece of Rendezvous you would like, please come talk to either Lori or Stacey and we will negotiate a deal with you.  We’re talking anything; tables, chairs, decorations, syrup, coffee, tea, soup, pastry dough, desserts, equipment, supplies, mugs, t-shirts, you name it, we’ll talk to you (first come, first dibbs).  We do need good homes for our plants.  If you are the green thumb type and have room for a plant or two, please let us know.

We would certainly like to keep in contact with you as we move on, you have all become so dear to us…  We are both on Facebook, or you may e-mail each of us at the following addresses:

Stacey Slaughter – sslaughter70@gmail.com
Lori Sander – lsander622@gmail.com

Please come see us a few more times before we close and please keep in touch with us.

Thank you again,Stacey & Lori

  1. I was bummed by this news. I am not a coffee drinker so I did not visit often but I loved the place when I went. They were one of the first places I went in town and everyone was so friendly.
