World Harvest turns 6

World Harvest is celebrating their sixth year of operation through Sunday. Get 10% off all purchases, taste cool cheeses and grab some baklava “just for coming in.”

I personally recommend:
Saifan Olive Oil
Pickled piquante peppers
Aged balsamic vinegar
Prima Donna cheese
Rustichella d’Abruzzo pasta

  1. Don’t forget to try the house-made “Iraqi pickled turshi”- think Italian giardinera. Ask for a sample and you will be hooked!

  2. Indeed. The house torshi are my personal treat whenever I go in. And the Saifan is worth every penny.

They also have a brand of German noodles that are very, very good; Bechtles, I think it is. Simple ingredient list and great quality; I use the spaetzle and others often during the winter for our frequent German cooking.

  3. Our other treats include McVittie’s Digestive Biscuits and a balsamic black truffle cream (more reduction than cream- and it only costs $5.99!).
