La Terraza, cont’d again

Marcia has a great write-up on Christian Ramirez, the man behind La Terraza. There’s a very good reason Taqueria El Rodeo and now La Terraza feel so familiar: it’s all about the family.

Mexico is a big place with a variety of ancient and modern cooking traditions. Cristian Ramirez is importing one of those traditions. For Ramirez, authenticity has to do with handmade food that recalls his mom’s food in the state of Jalisco, Mexico.
