The restaurant and chef winners were announced last night. Unfortunately, Gerard Craft of St. Louis’ Niche empire and Colby Garrelts of the KC’s intimate, delicious Bluestem, were shut out. Next year guys…

In other upsets, neither Momofuku nor Ad Hoc at Home won for best cookbook.

  1. Ad Hoc got an award for “General Cooking.” The biggie is “Cookbook of the Year,” which went to “The Country Cooking of Ireland.”

    It’s like losing out in Best Picture but getting Screenplay. So, still an upset if you ask me. Whatever, it still looks awesome.
