High on the hog

Over a tasty couple of apps last night I learned that Mike Odette will have pig’s head on the menu at Sycamore again Friday and Saturday. Not sure how it’s going to be prepared, but he seems to be inspired by the wonderful example at Niche in St. Louis.

I’ll be supping on Bud Light and cheese-filled brats, as we’re camping and canoeing hillbilly-style this weekend. If you’re doing the same, remember, leave the beer bongs and jello shots at home. One of the few things our honorable members of the state General Assembly got done was outlawing those drinking implements on state waterways.
