Just finished The Tenth Muse, which will be available at the library after I drop it off. A great read by the unbelievably fortuitous editor/publisher Judith Jones, who rescued Ann Frank’s diaries from the reject bin and completely changed the game with Julia Child.
On CD I have The Brief History of the Dead, which is utterly engrossing after only 15 minutes. It’s making me hope for traffic on the way home.
“First, Catch Your Rooster,” a rollicking good post whereby the interweb’s best hunter/cook risks death by rooster, then makes them into sausage.
