Plugging the personal

Saturday, March 14

The biggest, coolest Columbia event of late winter/early spring is the Model Citizen Fashion Show, benefiting my employer, the MU Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders. Designers and models from Stephens and MU showcase original fashions, Jann Carl from Entertainment Tonight serves as mistress of ceremonies and Norm and Virginia Stewart will serve as honorary co-chairs. 700 people drink wine, enjoy a great runway show and raise something like $100,000 for kids with autism. It’s a great time – even for guys – and you should be there. Or call 573-884-2450 for tickets. More details after the jump.
