Note: Video hysterical but NSFW.
MU Athletics are hosting a softball/baseball Fan Fest tomorrow (and get there early if you’re angling for a seat at the softball game…they’ll be hard to come by). “Brew in the ‘Lou,” a new book about St. Louis’ beer history and written by Evan Benn was released yesterday. Throw on a jacket and enjoy the omelet fundraiser tomorrow. Photographing the leftovers on school lunch trays seems a little, um, weird, right? Inside Columbia’s Wine and and Food Festival is coming up (and looks delicious). George Motz has released a new edition of “Hamburger America: A State-By-State Guide to 150 Great Hamburger Joints.” And while Booches doesn’t make the cut, the Wheel Inn Drive-In, Town Topic and Winstead’s do.
Update: Two things I missed earlier but bear including:
- Seussical, Jr. – A great Dr. Seuss-themed show put on by some very talented TRYPS kids. Really impressive show. Runs through Sunday.
- Goatsbeard Farm Cheese Class – Strangely there’s no information online, but Goatsbeard is pairing with a woman doing a cheese class Sunday. 9-3. Ask Jen at the market…got nothing else for ya. Sorry.
