Had some good oysters and tomatoes at Sycamore, both fried. Followed that with a very nice filet and (overcooked but tasty) Asian pork chops at Bleu and then “Away We Go” at Ragtag. The latter is a movie where you never, not even for a second, forget you are watching a movie starring Jim from “The Office.” Beard doesn’t matter. And there’s no chemistry with the co-star, but still, date night is like pizza. Even when it’s not great, it’s still pretty awesome.

Chris and I ejnoyed Away We Go, but it probably has something to do with where we are in our lives. I also enjoy John Krasinski’s character on The Office, so that could be a factor as well. I don’t think the movie was Oscar worthy, but I did find it amusing at times. Besides, there’s nothing better than a movie theater that has a fully stocked bar… even bad movies are a ‘little’ better with a drink in hand.
